I don’t know about you but my head has been full of “what if’s” these past few weeks. What if I get sick, what if one of my parents gets sick, what if I loose my job, what if I run out of toilet paper (how ridiculous is that?), what if I can’t pay my mortgage and bills. There is stress for my two college age daughters having to finish their freshman and junior year of college at home and my high school son navigating his junior year of high school with online learning. My oldest daughter works in the pathology department in a local hospital, that doesn’t make me nervous at all! I could go on and on… but I chosen to look for some silver linings, the positive “what if’s”. What if you always wanted to learn a new skill or get into shape? What if this was an opportunity to discover something new about yourself? I compiled a very short list of free, yes free, online learning tools. While researching different topics, I quickly fell down several deep deep rabbit holes of information and learning. The opportunities seem endless! Take a moment and jump down a rabbit hole with me, take this virtual journey to something new! I know that personally I feel better when I can take back a little control in what feels like an out of control situation. I can control where I put my energy and my actions. I have my children, family, partner, his family, and friends. Right now I have everything and more that I need. I am thankful and ready to learn!
If you know of any other free online resources, I would love to know about them! Here is what I’ve discovered so far.
